A little about me...
I am a wife, mom of an adorable and bright little boy. I married into the STEM lifestyle and noticed that my son had his fathers inquisitive and curious mind very early on. As he grew and his desire to learn and explore expanded, I started seeking our activities for us to do together to feed his sponge like brain. But most events or activities would have a starting age of 5 or six years old. So i researched on-line, libraries, etc. for activities that we could do at home. As I introduced items like duplos, paint, playdoh, etc. into his play time, he absolutely loved it! Oh, and a nature scavenger hunt completely made his his day! While I believe my kiddo is special, I knew he wasn't the only child who was intrigued by these particular ways to play. I also knew that I was not the only mom looking to make memories with her child through play. And so the idea for Imagination Laboratory was born.
Imagination Laboratory helps parents introduce STEAM concepts to their children in an easy, playful and interactive way. This is accomplished through pop-up events, birthday and other life celebration parties, as well as providing easy to use resources for parents to use in the home to engage their kiddos little brains.
I love that I am able to help parents create lasting memories through fun parties and easy every day activities that can be done at home and I look forward to creating them with you.
